Find and explain two good examples of sustainable design?

I saw this in the DesignWeek magazine (Volume 25 / Number 10 / 11 March 2010 / £3.20) page 16 in the college library and thought it was a good example of sustainable design. There are other examples in that magazine also.

Original Source Shower gel - mint
(500ml)

£2.91
(58.2p per 100ml)
quantity Add NEW. PACKED WITH NATURAL STUFF AND 75% LESS PLASTIC. PACKED WITH ESSENTIAL OILS. This Original Source Shower Gel is still jam-packed with natural stuff, using 100% pure and natural essential oils, but this handy pouch format uses 75% LESS plastic than conventional shower bottles. Naturally intense & a BIG reduction in packaging waste! It takes over 15,000 mint leaves to help make this skin-tingling shower gel. Experience the cool mint tingle with Mint & Tea Tree essential oils, taken straight from their natural source. Perfect to kick start your day!

I think a pint glass is a good example of sustainable design. In a pub (as you will already know) drinks are served in glasses and after you have finished your drink the glass is collected to be washed and served to the next customer.
